Powder skiing takes over the focus. Powder is probably the only reason not to be fishing. Skiing at Aspen/Snowmass and Sunlight is only 30 minutes from our door.
Winter Special stay and ski packages from $149 pp and includes breakfast, lift ticket and complimentary happy hour from 4-5 daily. Unbelieveable value considering a lift tickets are currently $87!
Fishing- The "warm before the storm" can produce some incredible action in our back yard with Big Rainbows. Mid-day hatches begin early February and continue until run-off. Our property gets all day sun and rarely has a snowpack or much ice (this year being the exception). A short drive up the Frying Pan can produce some great dry fly action with little preasure and people.
