The Lodge along with our outfitting company, the Adventure Club, are happy to launch the newest form of river fun; Surfing the “wave” at the Glenwood Whitewater Park. Set to host the 2009 US Kayak freestyle championships, the wave has quickly become a favorite for kayakers and surfers. The inaugural year for the Whitewater Park was 2008. We can’t wait for 2009!
The Adventure Club will be hosting “Learn to Surf” classes all spring and earlier summer. We offer everything needed to ride including equipment, transportation and refreshments from the Lodge or Marina in Carbondale.
