There is no better way to view the spectacular scenery of the majestic Rocky Mountains than from a hot air balloon. Rides are scheduled every morning at sunrise beginning with an early morning wake up call and transportation from the Lodge to Snowmass Village. The pilots take you over the lovely, rugged landscape of the Aspen/Snowmass area. The distinctive balloons will carry you aloft for approximately one hour to a gentle landing downwind, offering breathtaking vistas of the mountain ranges around you and the flora and fauna below.

During the course of your flight, you will have the pleasure of flying high, in order to fully appreciate the magnitude of the mountains, as well as low to see what it's like to fly close to the trees and animals. The celebration of this adventure-of-a-lifetime begins anew upon landing as passangers will join the 200-year-old tradition of toasting the completion of the flight with champagne; hear the story of the first balloon flight in 1783; and recite the prayer to celebrate a successful flight.
